Monseiur Leonard Jr.
Bio
The name is Monseiur Leonard Jr. I’ll start off by saying I am not French, neither is anyone in my main family. I am a junior, so I am named after my father. They wanted a name that would give a form of respect no matter how one addressed them. Also, they had two tries to spell it right and they didn’t so it’s a family tradition that will go on. If I have any kids, I will continue it. Spelling and all.
Anyway, I am from Chicago, IL. Have been for a good chunk of my life despite moving around for school and college-based internships. I love to draw if I could I’d do it forever. Well, I plan to anyway seeing as how I’m an illustrator and drawing is a part of the job. Graduating from Columbia College: Chicago, I focus on character design/creation, making concepts or helping with final designs.
Having worked on various projects such as comics, movies, stories, and various other media.
Even if the projects went nowhere, heh. I still had fun and took what I could for a learning experience. My style is mainly focused on the acronym “K.I.S.S” which means “Keep It Simple Stupid”. Yet I also love some minor details that could be added. So it is “K.I.S.S but with detail”.
The goal is to push my characters and art into various forms of media. Having my hands in different pots to expand my horizon. Yet mostly I’d like to just tell stories, so I’d see my characters in books. Possibly more around the areas of graphic novels.
